I’m Ed Heaton, a divorce coach and a performance & career development coach for professionals.

I offer support to people navigating relationship breakdown so that they are better able to move forward and look to the future, and I help professionals (particularly lawyers) develop healthy, sustainable ways of working, build resilience & confidence, prepare for & settle into new roles and become the best that they can be.

Everybody has something they can work on, no matter who they are. Coaching should be seen, quite simply, as an essential and sound investment for individuals and businesses alike.

What is coaching?

First things first - coaching is not about fixing something that has gone wrong in the past.

It is about focusing on the future; moving forward and making progress; and setting and achieving objectives.

Professional coaching

I offer career and corporate coaching to professionals to facilitate progression, navigate promotion processes, improve skills and enhance performance, engagement, productivity and, ultimately, profitability.

Personal coaching

I coach individuals looking to make a change in their lives (helping them to identify their priorities and desired direction of travel) and individuals with a specific goal in mind (career-orientated or otherwise).

Divorce coaching

I provide coaching support to people who have been, or are going through, a separation and/or divorce to help them deal with what needs to be dealt with and look to the future.

What my clients are saying…

“I would highly recommend Ed. The sessions helped me identify my goals and align with what is important to me and to work out how to get there. I was able to increase my confidence and motivation and overcome self critical beliefs, which were holding me back. Ed's insight and experience in the legal profession ensures intuitive understanding of lawyers and I felt relaxed and easy to communicate during the sessions.”

“I found the line of probing from Ed very effective, and conversations were steered purposefully in a way that made me think hard about what I was trying to achieve and the best approach to achieve it. Questions around the views and receptivity of stakeholders were particularly useful. The coaching has helped me to look at problems from other people's perspectives, take a more direct and candid approach to issue resolution and apply a more considered approach to influencing and driving positive outcomes from key conversations.”
